Wave After Wave is a flowing quilt pattern inspired by the gentle movement of the sea, designed to showcase the beautiful Hidden Tides collection by Paula Milner of The Crafty Lass.
 
Made using simple half square triangles, the repeating wave design is suitable for confident beginners and is a great way to let your favourite fabrics take centre stage.
 
The pattern includes clear, step-by-step instructions with photographs, from making the half square triangles through to assembling the quilt top, quilting and binding.

Fabric 1 – Turtle Tide: 1 fat quarter
Fabric 2 – Bloom: 1 fat quarter
Fabric 3 – Urchin Cluster: ½ metre
Fabric 4 – Drift Dance: ½ metre
Fabric 5 – Blue Bubbles: ½ metre
Fabric 6 – Ocean Treasures: ½ metre
Fabric 7 – Tangle: ½ metre
Fabric 8 – Shoreline: ½ metre
Fabric 9 – Silver Bubbles: ½ metre
Fabric 10 – Coastal Calm: ½ metre
Fabric 11 – Sky Blue Plain: ½ metre
 
Fabric requirements are for the original Hidden Tides colourway shown.
You will also need: backing fabric, batting/wadding and thread.
