Hot Pink Butterfly Fabric - Explore the Tropics Natural History Museum
This hot pink butterfly fabric is one of 5 100% cotton fabrics from the Craft Cotton Companies Explore the Tropics range. It is the third collection put together alongside the Natural History Museum and all the images are taken from their Explore the Tropics Archives. The background is hot pink and the butterflies are navy blue and turquoise with their technical names Ornithoptera Alexandrae and Callicore Astrarte. The width of the largest butterfly is around 5cm.
An image of the quilt I made is there for inspiration but you can also find the free tutorial on my blog.
