Welcome to Week 1 of my Me Made May 2025 video diary! I kicked things off with an intro on Day 1, and now I’m diving into what I’ve worn each day since. Expect lots of handmade outfits, a mix of indie patterns, and fabrics ranging from sold-out favourites to upcoming releases. It’s a real celebration of slow fashion and sewing your own wardrobe. ✨ Here’s what I wore: Day 2 – A shirred dress from The Modern Wardrobe book, sewn in a dreamy green-blue gingham viscose from The Crafty Pie’s very first collection. Day 3 – The same shirred dress pattern, this time in a bold quilting cotton. I’ve sold out of this one, but it’s a great example of dressmaking with quilting cotton! Day 4 – The Wildergown by Friday Pattern Co in a cotton-viscose blend from the Crafts of Tranquility collection (out this summer). Day 5 – Tilly and the Buttons Agnes top in a viscose jersey mix with colourful flowers on a black background—comfy and bright. Day 6 – The Ethel top from Tiana’s Closet in William Morris Hyacinth fabric, a cotton-viscose blend coming this summer. Tree climbing season is here, which means more adventures—and more ripped trousers! As a boy mum, patching up clothes is just part of the job.
