The boys had a K Pop party tonight. I love that they didn't want to go as demons but it did make it more of a challenge to find the right outfit. Thankfully I quite enjoy a rummage through a charity shop and if the fabric is right just hand me a sewing machine and I'll make it work. George won the best costume and I have never been more proud. I only wish I had more time to put some effort into my own look.

I took over a whole village hall with fabric – come and see what it looked like behind the scenes! From cramming the car full, to transforming the space into a colourful pop-up shop, plus tea, cake and a tombola… this was such a fun day. Looking for the perfect end-of-term gift for a teacher, teaching assistant, or tutor? In this video, I make something handmade, practical and personal – a lovely thank you they’ll use every day. I’ve chosen a fun yellow pencil print for the outer fabric and used a plain fabric from my stash for the lining. I also share a few coordinating fabric ideas that would work beautifully for this project – including some classic William Morris prints.
